Uncle Mair was born in 1921 in Bursa, Turkey, to Salamon and Kadem Benardete. He moved from Bursa to Canakkale, to work and raise family there.
He married Aneta Cohen
in 1947 and they had three children: Flora, Shlomo and
Berta. Uncle Mair and Aunt Aneta made Aliyah to Israel in 1980.
